Week 13

This week was the first week back after the winter break. Over the time off, I started the research section of my essay. I needed to find the three products that I wanted to investigate and write an outline. Although I didn’t narrow this research down into three products, it helped me be prepared for Wednesday morning’s session on our essay progress. Over the next week, I will narrow down my choices and begin a first draft of my essay.

On Wednesday, we also began working on our Pololu projects again. For me, this meant updating my code to match the newest version. However, I was unable to test the code as the sun stopped it from working properly.

On Friday, we had our regular Monday session, and I was able to test my code. After checking that it all worked, we moved on with the rest of the workshop. This week also contained a group tutorial. I enjoyed the tutorial this week as we spoke to each other about progress and workload. I find it very reassuring to hear how others are dealing with the work and what they have completed or just started.

Overall, I really enjoyed this first week back, and I am excited to progress further with each project.
